The bear, which can weigh up to 350 pounts, has to make sure it gets enough food. Because it eats almost nothing but bamboo, and the plant is not particularly nutritious, it has to keep eating for up to 16 hours a day! No wonder it has no time to play; it has to digest up to 90 pounds of bamboo! And that takes time.
